I've agreed to read an excerpt from Red Phone Box at the Brixton Book Jam, at the Hootenanny, which is on Effra Road in Brixton, London. They have these quarterly events.
I'll fess up to something. I haven't done public readings for a while because my eyesight sucks in low light. But I think my new Kindle Paperwhite (though I'm not a huge fan of Amazon for what it's doing to the book trade) is going to save the day. I've practiced the reading and it seems like it's going to work.
So come down and listen to me and a bunch of other people reading. I, in turn, will try to make a spectacle of myself. Or should I say NOT to?
